So, already filed one complaint to which I never received a response. Bought 3 1-lb boxes of chocolates during the holidays. Upon opening the boxes, none of our "normal" favorites were in the boxes as have always been for years and years and years. Instead in one of the boxes, there were 5 repeat of one of the chocolates that nobody likes and in the other boxes we found much of the same with missing favorites and duplicates of many others. When paying SO MUCH for a 1-lb box of candy, you should at least get what you have grown to expect. WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT. You would think Sees would reach out and say here is a coupon for a box of chocolates. NOPE, NOTHING, NADA, ZERO. Not even a response. NEVER, EVER again.

I ordered a basic pre-boxed combo on Dec. 15 for delivery in Morgan Hill, California. I was promised delivery Dec. 18-24. Come Jan. 8 -- still not delivered! Jan. 20, a month later, gave up . . . in February, they couldn't figure out what happened and canceled the order.
Tracking history shows the order didn't leave Compton for more than a week. Then it was sent to Fremont (a relatively short distance from destination) three times, including Dec. 23, Dec. 29 and then sat there for a week in early January, and in between was sent to Sacramento Dec. 24, again in Sacramento Dec. 30, and then Redding (250 miles north!) Dec. 30, then back to Sacramento, and then again to Fremont.
This is an idiotic delivery service you have and you have totally spoiled my mom's Christmas, New Year's and 94th birthday!!
I called the Service Line at See's three times. Was promised delivery the next day each time. I then called the delivery company and they couldn't explain anything.
My ensuing phone calls to both resulted in no action; Then, on another call, they suggested to try explaining it in a note (again). I never received an email response to three email requests to their help and service division.
Ten days later, I get a call that they are going to give me a gift certificate for my troubles. It's been three weeks and guess what? No gift certificate by mail, and no note of it in my online account, no email.
Terrible on all fronts. Accounting in Compton, Ontrac delivery out of Hayward, Service out of Compton.
How do you stay in business?
Would rate it Zero Stars, or Negative 5 Stars, since I have spent a lot of time and received absolutely zilch, not one, if possible. As a 30-year customer, I am done with you.

I ordered on April 29th 2021 and I left a voicemail twice with my confirmation number and I have yet to hear from them I feel like I have been ripped off and they claim that their product ships in a couple of days well I have yet to receive my product my have my money and I have no products
What is the strange obsession with See’s around here? Ever since I moved to California, I could expect gifts of See’s candy at every Christmas, Mother’s Day, you name it. I should be grateful, right? Free chocolate, not cheap, gifts by people just trying to be nice and give what they think is a favorite treat.
Except that the stuff is absolutely terrible! Weird, unappetizing boxed chocolates that taste cheap and lollies with good flavors but made in such an awkward shape that you can barely eat it without drooling.
We got a simple milk chocolate bar this year for Mother’s Day at my church. It was very kind of them, must have cost a lot for so many. I tried eating it, thinking maybe I just didn’t care for the particular flavors I’d had in the past and that a simple bar of chocolate would be okay. It wasn’t. It tasted freaking weird, sickly sweet, and like something odd had been added that I couldn’t identify. I asked my kids if they wanted the rest. They ate it but even the youngest agreed that it was terrible.
Seriously, we have Trader Joe’s and Godiva, Lindt and Ghirardelli. There’s no excuse for buying See’s anymore with so many good chocolates out there.
A very kind co-worker purchased a one-pound box of Bridge Mix for us. I used to be a big fan of Brach's Bridge Mix but stopped buying theirs after they changed their mix. I have to say that this mix was not that great. The chocolate was just about the same as the cheap Brach's I used to buy and the mix, well, just boring. No coconut pieces, maybe there never were. Just a boring mix IMO. Did tell the co-workers that this is not cheap candy and did thank the co-worker for his kindness giving it to us. Not sure I would purchase anything else for myself.
So i went to Douglas Blvd Branch, Roseville. There were 3 of them working. The other lady was filling supplies, the second lady was with a customer and the 3rd lady was with a customer who i think is trying to pay. I was in line next to this customer who wants to pay but i guess she is not done yet. SO the lady who was filling in supplies, has asked a customer who just came in, ignored me totally who was in line first, obviously she saw me holding on to 2 packs of chocolate i wanted to buy, so since she ignored me, i returned the 2 chocolates and left. Talking about good customer service eh...
1st I received a box of Sees for my birthday, out of date , was sent a new box , the chocolate was so thick and hard you couldn’t taste the filling. The assortment was mostly chocolate covered nuts, chocolate disks, all of them hard. No white chocolate, no caramels, what has happened to Sees? At $25.00 a pound this is the last time. UPDATE: after posting this review I was contacted by Sees, the customer service could not have been better, they took care of me and made me again a satisfied customer. Thank you Sees
See's flat out lies and says they will send you the candy you ordered and then never does. They do this repeatedly, apparently because they simply don't care. I would spend my money elsewhere for sure. You roll the dice. They may send you something. But if they don't, you are out of luck. They will keep your money and tell you they are sending you the candy, but never do.

In January, I ordered a large box of Valentine candy to be delivered Feb 13. One week AFTER Valentine's Day, it was delivered. Called customer services and they refunded my money. No apology. As if they are so used to this issue, they don't even put up a defense.
Also, to be honest, the candy just isn't that great. Waxy chocolate and over-sweet fillings. Similar to the quality you'd buy at a drug store. Never again.
My Valentine's Story is a repeat of all the others! At the end of January, I ordered a heart box for each of my elderly parents. Expensive? Yes, but I wanted the quality to show them how much I care. Sounds good if it hadn't arrived a week late. TERRIBLE, Uncommunicative customer(less) service. Officers of the Seescandies should be reading all of these reviews. It might save them time when they are sitting in war rooms trying to figure out why the company is loosing market share. ????
I ordered 60.00 worth of product on Jan. 18 and was delivered on Jan 26. The box of Dark Assorted chocolates were outdated. I had only until Feb. 16 to throw out the expensive box of chocolates. They use the Julian Calendar method to do inventory and keep product up to date. Well whoever picked out this product never once checked to see if it was good enough for a Valentine Gift, nor do they even car.
I am not only disappointed you sent me the wrong Bordeaux with a light colored filling instead of the brown sugar darker filling, but I am angry you had the gumption to do it. For years we have enjoyed your quality and integrity. No Longer.
